My mom is a baker and I decided to ask my mom to help me make a cake for my boyfriend's birthday. I decided to make a cinnamon chocolate birthday cake with the decoration of his favorite soccer teams. This took us about four days to make and he was super happy with how the cake turned out. I have never been very inclined to baking especially through such long periods of time but in the end, it was really worth it and it tasted great! I had my mother helping me throughout the process and teaching me all the necessary techniques to decorate the cake. I even discovered there is such a thing as edible paper to decorate cakes. I learned new skills like learning how to bake and also decorate a cake with fondant and food coloring. I was very proud of the results of this cake and although it was challenging to learn how to make it, it turned out delicious.
