Operation Smile is an international non-profit organization that raises money to donate operations for children with facial deformities. In FDR, we came together and created a club to aid the organization in raising money from our community. I am a cabinet member of Operation Smile as the "social manager," meaning I take care of the social media accounts of Operation Smile at FDR. It has been a challenge trying to organize ways to fund money for donations while in social distancing but with the help of the club we were able to organize a raffle. I managed the social media aspect of the raffle and even participated as one of the raffle prizes! The prize I was part of was giving a makeup class through zoom for a Halloween makeup look. The raffle was an overall success since we were able to raise enough money to fund one operation (these operations are not cheap).
