This is an image of a mural I and a team of students painted during a competition called ICC at my school. Our theme was dinosaurs and we were given a week to paint. We got first place for the mural and also first place in the entire competition! It took a lot of hard work and me and my peers were very proud of it.
This was a challenge because I am not a very talented artist and painting on such a large wall is very hard. During the week we had to paint I was in charge of doing the rocks which were out of everything on the wall of the easiest to do. I also did the letters which were hard to make proportionate and straight since they looked huge up-close but small from far away.
Overall, I learned the importance of teamwork and organization since it was the thing that was most significant in our work on the mural. I also developed skills on working on really large canvases which is not something I was used to.
